Social Actions Committee
The Social Action Committee is a group of students in 6 th -8 th grade who support and assist in causes and projects that are consistent with the school’s social and religious goals. Members look to improve our world, locally and globally. Students focus on supporting those who are in need or less fortunate with the coordination of an annual food drive for the Community Foodbank, letters and care packages for troops overseas, and a Mother’s Day collection for a local Battered Women’s Shelter. As part of the larger community Students’ support and celebrate with their help at the Bloomfield Special Olympics Basketball Fundraising Event. Locally students work to improve the school by planting flowers and decorating for holidays. Students support Global concerns in their effort to protect the environment and the sanctity of life.
