On your mark, get set, flow! Drink in the 2017/2018 HYDRO DYNAMICS SM  season and learn all about water – how we find, transport, use, or dispose of it. In the 2017/18 FIRST ®  LEGO ®  League Challenge, students age 9 to 16 from 80 countries will make a splash with HYDRO DYNAMICS. What might become possible when we understand what happens to our water?

FIRST ®  LEGO ®  League challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. During the HYDRO DYNAMICS SM  season, teams will choose and solve a real-world problem in the Project. They will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO ®  MINDSTORMS ® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. Throughout their experience, teams will operate under the FIRST LEGO League signature set of Core Values, celebrating discovery, teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism®.

From August 29th, 2017 the detailed challenge missions will be published for  FLL Robot Game  &  FLL Research Project  on the FLL website.

Another effort of STA reinforcing the STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) in our school.

2016 Robotics Club Information

We are so thrilled with all of the STA teams!  We could not be prouder of the effort that was put forth by our students

Our Tech Dragons had the 4th highest score out of 44 teams in the Robot Missions.

Our Mega Masters (Devin Andress, Carter Courtney, Kenny McGowan, Diana Prisco, Regina Salandra, Garan Salandy, and Camille Schiralli) received a Project Inspiration award for their research and design and was one of only nine teams at the event to advance to the First Lego League State Championship!
Our four STA teams were placed in the top half of all the teams competing in the Robot Mission section of the competition.  Each of our thirty students had a part to play in the success of all the teams!!
This year's teams have just raised the bar.  We now know that we can compete at a higher level and we look forward to doing so again next year.
